Scenar and Sports
Injuries
Scenar is used by many in top-level sports
Scenar is
very effective with most sports and exercise injuries, speeding up recovery times for muscles and
ligaments that are painfully overstretched, sprained, or torn. Even recovery times for fractures and cartilage
tears are reduced, injuries that would otherwise sideline players for two or three times
longer.
So Scenar
is now a preferred
treatment for increasing numbers of top sportsmen, ballet dancers, musicians and other
celebrities (see also Entertainers). Presumably as a form of competitive advantage, or in
deference to their PR handlers, this isn't publicised very much, although there have been some
mentions (see Press
Coverage).
Scenar in Rugby
" I've used (Scenar)
for problems with my neck and groin and there's no doubt it speeds up recovery.
" England
rugby international Dan Luger in The Daily Mail, October
2003
" I am no medical man, so I cannot say for sure how much I owe to the
machine (Scenar). But put it this way, the day before I started using it, I did a 20-minute run on the treadmill
and really struggled on level eight. After three days of treatment, I did the same run on level 15 and didn't
feel it at all. " England rugby international Mike Catt in the
Mirror.
Other members of the England rugby
team, Danny Cipriani, Andy Gomersall and Jason
Robinson have all acknowledged their gains from using InterX, a Scenar
offshoot.
American Football stars have also been
using InterX, including players in the Miami
Dolphins and the Dallas
Cowboys.
Scenar in Tennis
Wimbledon
champion Maria Sharapova has also ackowledged using InterX.
Scenar in
Surfing
Hear what seven times world surfing champion Layne Beachley says about her Scenar
experiences:
Other top surfers who have acknowledged using Scenar
frequently include Barton Lynch and Karl Attkins.
Scenar in World Athletics
The first time Scenar really came to the attention of people in the West was its use on Russian
and Ukranian athletes at the 2000 Olympics in Sydney: Russian athletes were observed getting back into competition
after serious injuries had received Scenar (see Injury and Fatigue in
Athletes, and Super Marathons).
Athletes in some other countries took
notice, especially in Australia. At the 2010 Vancouver Olympics, the Australian team had the
services of several Scenar therapists to help, in particular Olympic snow boarding gold medal
winner Torah Bright, and luge champion Hannah
Campbell-Pegg and four-time Olympian and Gold medal winning beach voleyball athlete Natalie
Cook.
In February 2012, an article on
PRWeb reported that " Australian athletes preparing for the London Olympic Games are using Ritm Scenar®, a
'secret weapon' to treat acute, chronic and post operative pain caused by common sports
injuries. Olympic hopeful
Emma Nedov, a teenage gymnast from Sydney who is the reigning Commonwealth World Junior Champion
on the beam apparatus has been using Ritm Scenar® since she was 10 years old and credits the device for enabling
her to recover from her frequent injuries and get back to training in the shortest possible
time. Together with Jo Brigden
Jones, who has qualified for the London Olympics in the Sprint Kayaking event, they are using Ritm Scenar®
as a vital element in their Olympic preparation. "
Here's what Theodora Spathis, a Sheffield-based personal trainer and heptathlete, and
another Olympic hopeful told the Sheffield Star about how Scenar improved
her chances of selection for the (Australian, country of her birth) 2012 Olympic athletics squad: “ Scenar therapy has played a massive part in my recovery, without a doubt. I would not have
recovered in time without it. It has made all the difference. I
had an Achilles tendon injury in May last year, tried a few remedies, acupuncture, physio, herbal but nothing
worked - this has.”
Canadian world champions who have sung the praises of Scenar include Kimberley
Joines, several
times world para alpine ski racing champion, and Cindy Devine, several times world downhill biking
medalist. Three-times U.S. national figure skating champion
Jonny Weir also has regular
treatments.
Scenar in Football (Soccer)
The largest Russian Scenar site
has "thank yous" from the Chelsea soccer team, and its billionaire owner Roman Abramovitch, and some
of the Real Madrid team.
AC
Milan are using InterX, and Dinamo
Minsk have used Scenar since 1992.
Several
other top footballers or teams have been using Scenar treatments for years.
Scenar can help most sports
injuries
Most injuries from sports and exercise
will respond well to Scenar treatment. Some of the most common are:
-
sprained ankle or twisted
knee
-
torn hamstring or quadricep
muscles
-
torn
ligaments
-
broken ankle, wrist, leg or
arm
-
plantar
fasciitis
-
shin
splints
-
ruptured achilles
tendon
-
tarsal or metatarsal
injuries
-
rotator cuff
tear
-
tendonitis or
bursitis
-
lateral/medial epicondylitis
(tennis/golfer's elbow)
Scenar for
Accidents
Scenar therapy can significantly reduce
recovery times after a wide range of accidents, traumas, and surgery, including burns and fractures
(see Fractures). In fact, other than hospital treatment with plaster casts and
reconstructive surgery, there seem to be few if any therapies as effective as Scenar in speeding up recovery
from injuries.
The injury
can be treated successfully at almost any point, sometimes decades afterwards. However, Scenar is most dramatic with acute
cases when applied within the first few
hours after an accident. For recent soft tissue injuries, depending on
the severity of the injury, pain and inflammation are often gone in
minutes.
Please note that these pages are for general information and not in any way intended to
help you diagnose a medical condition. You should first seek a diagnosis from a doctor, and, if you decide to
try Scenar therapy, work with your doctor in assessing the progress of the condition and the dosage of any
drugs you may be taking.
