Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (or Complex Regional Pain Syndrome)RSD (also called Complex Regional Pain Syndrome) happens when part of the nervous system goes into over-drive, usually in response to an injury, and continues like this for months or years after it has been mended. The part most affected by RSD is usually a hand or arm, sometimes on both sides of the body.
RSD is a notoriously drawn-out and difficult condition to treat. Not surprisingly (given that Scenar works through the central nervous system), I've witnessed Scenar delivering great results with RSD, although it is usually a slow process.

The result is a burning pain, stiffness and swelling. RSD-affected hands will often tense
into a claw and unless treated successfully, may virtually shut down and require major surgery. Other symptoms
on the RSD-affected limb are an extreme sensitivity to being touched, abnormally rapid hair and nail
growth, and discoloured skin, plus a feeling "like ants crawling under the
